2004 Season Preview & 2003 Season in Review
 

2003 Season:
They say that records were meant to be broken. This was certainly the case in 2003. The Saints finished the 2003 season with a record of 12-3. With that win total, Limestone broke a program record for most wins in a season. The Lady Saints also posted 192 goals on the season breaking the record for most goals in a season. In addition, after posting a 7-6 record in 2002 the Saints have become the most improved team in DII with their 12-3 record in 03'.

Numerous individual records were broken in 2003 as well. Senior attacker Kathy Campbell broke the record for most assists in game, most assists in a season and most points in season. At the midfield JR. Meghan Dennehy broke the record for most goals in season. On Defense JR Michelle Lare broke two records including caused turnovers in a game and in a season.

Outlook for 2004:
After coming off a record breaking season the Limestone Saints will return 16 players and 8 starters including Senior All-Americans Meghan Dennehy and Michelle lare who will help lead the Saints to another successful season.

The Saints are excited about the experience that the returning players will bring in 2004. Among the top players is Meghan Dennehy whom broke the season goal scoring record in 2003. Michelle Lare, Angela Tomchik and Erica Handleman will anchor the defense and help build off their top 4 ranking in GAA. Jackie Weaver returns after ranking 2nd in the country in save % as a freshman in 03'. Sophomores Maria Humphries and Brooke Nowell will add to the potent offense as they come off a successful freshman year. The Saints will also bring a number of talented freshmen in that will make an immediate impact on the team.

The Lady saints will compete in the tough south region as they make their run for the National Championship.
