Coach's Corner

Head Coach - Michael Scerbo
After starting the program in the fall of 1996, Scerbo has compiled a 16-18 overall record in three years of competition. Last year he led the Saints to their first winning season at 7-5 and an IWLCA Division II national ranking of sixth. In his tenure at Limestone College Scerbo has had three different players receive All-American honors five different times in three seasons. He has also had one player compete in the National Collegiate North/South All-Star game in 1998 and has had four players named to the Deep South All-Star team. This season Scerbo's focus will be as the offensive coordinator for the program.

Scerbo currently serves as the chair of the Brine/IWLCA Division II Coaches' Poll and as the Division II south region chair of the IWLCA Growth Committee. He has also served on the IWLCA and USL All-American committees for the past four years. A native of Fulton, NY, Scerbo played three years of Division I lacrosse at Stony Brook University before transferring to SUNY Oswego where he graduated in 1995.

Assistant Coach - Kevin Krause
Krause served as a student assistant in 1999 after a season ending back injury in lacrosse at Limestone. After graduating in May with a BS in Physical Education, Krause signed on with the admissions office and became a full-time employee at the college. Krause was a two-sport athlete during his years at Limestone lettering in both soccer and lacrosse. A standout student athlete Krause graduated with a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Along with continuing his goalie coaching duties Krause will assume the role of defensive coordinator for 2000.

Assistant Coach - Cindy Watkins
After transferring Anne Arundel Community College to Limestone in the spring of 1997 Watkins had three successful years in a Saints uniform. Currently ranked eleventh in career saves in Division II her playing experience under Scerbo will allow her to help the younger player make the adjustment to the college level. Watkins holds a BA from Limestone. She will be working with the goalies this spring and helping Krause with the defense.
